French director Didier Bivel's first feature, WE NEED A VACATION, mixes scathing and affecting social commentary with laugh-out-loud hilarity. Two minority boys from an urban ghetto are sick of seeing glamourous vacations to which they have no access advertised all around them. Determined to live the image, the two boys hatch several schemes to stowaway to an exotic land. Their mischevious and illegal acts, however, get them to stranger locations than anticipated -- a nudist colony is just one of the places they end up!
